Hosts Secure Advantage

Semi final time in the UEFA Europa League with Juventus only two games away from a potential 'home' final in Turin, Benfica looking to get to a second consecutive final after defeat to Chelsea in 2013 with Sevilla and Valencia both looking to add to previous titles in the competition.

The all Spanish tie saw Sevilla come out on top with a 2-0 win over Valencia who will have to replicate their comeback win against Basel in the second leg in order to progress. Sevilla claimed the win with two goals in the space of three minutes after the half-hour with M'bia and Bacca striking to secure the victory.

In the other tie, Benfica secured a 2-1 against Juventus to leave Juve with a deficit to overturn in order to set up their 'home' final but will take the confidence of having an away goal. Garay put the hosts in front in the second minute with Tevez equalising in the 73rd minute for the visitors. Lima sealed the win for the Portuguese champions in the 84th minute giving them a slim advantage for the return leg.
