Gameweek two of the Premier League saw a mix of good defence and strong attack with four games featuring four goals while seven teams failed to score.

Four 3pm kick-offs this week and a good place to start is with Chelsea's second successive game against a newly promoted side as Leicester City visited Stamford Bridge. Leicester proved they were no pushovers as they managed to hold the hosts out until the hour mark when summer signing Diego Costa scored his second goal in as many games in the 62nd minute. Leicester looked to respond but the win was confirmed with 13 minutes remaining when Eden Hazard slotted past Kasper Schmeichel to seal a 2-0 victory.
Last season, West Ham had problems in attack but this season looked to have fixed the issue as they secured a 3-1 win away to fellow Londoners, Crystal Palace with summer signing Mauro Zarate opening the scoring with a stunning volley in the 34th minute. The Eagles responded well in the second half and reduced the arrears in the 48th minute when Marouane Chamakh struck but just after the hour mark, West Ham regained their two-goal lead with a strike from Carlton Cole securing all three points.
