The Ukrainians secured a safe passage to the last 32 by defeating PSV 1-0 with a winning goal from Djedje on the hour with the sending off of Riera late on the only negative for the visitors.

Red Bull Salzburg completed a clean sweep with a maximum 18 points after a 3-0 win over already qualified Esbjerg with a double from Mane sandwiching a Kampl strike completing an amazing group campaign that saw them conceded only three goals.Elfsborg won the battle to finish third with a 3-1 win over Liege despite going behind to an Mbombo goal on the half hour as Nilsson hit double either side of half time with the win sealed by a Beckmann strike in the 52nd minute ensuring the Swedes avoided bottom spot.

Wigan needed to win and hope Rubin did them a favour by beating Zulte but sadly only the latter came true as for the second time in this group they led against Maribor and lost, this time by a 2-1 scoreline as Gomez handed them the lead from the spot with McCann sent off a minute after resulting in an equaliser from Mezga just before half-time. Filipovic put the home side ahead on the hour and even though they had Mertelj dismissed with 15 minutes to go, they held on for a win which saw them qualify. Rubin finished unbeaten with a late show away to Zulte that saw them win 2-0 with a Natcho penalty in the 78th minute added to by an 85th minute strike from Rondon.

In the battle for top spot, Fiorentina came out as winners with a 2-1 victory over Dnipro despite going behind early on to a 13th minute opener from Konoplyanka as Joaquin levelled just before half-time with Cuadrado sealing the win in the 77th minute to end the group stage unbeaten. Pacos sealed third place in the group after a 0-0 draw with basement side Pandurii despite having Leao sent off late on.

Frankfurt confirmed top spot in the group with a 2-0 win over Apoel with second half strikes from Schrock and Djakpa while Bordeaux ended a miserable campaign in bottom spot after a 1-0 defeat to Maccabi Tel Aviv who took advantage of Chalme's sending off to score a winner from the spot through Zahavi.

Sheriff sealed third place with a 2-0 victory over Tromso with goals from Mendes after four minutes and Mustafa in the 36th minute.

Maccabi Haifa secured third place with a 2-1 win over bottom side Karagandy despite going behind to a 44th minute penalty from Canas but a Gozlan leveller in the 72nd minute was soon followed by a winning strike from Abuhatzira in the 80th minute.
